Frequently Asked Questions

What is the BodyScan?

The BodyScan 2010 is an FDA registered biofeedback/stress testing device that measures your physiological response to outside stimuli. It uses biofeedback by attaching electrodes to your head, fingers, wrists and ankles and EAV as described below.

What is EAV/Electro dermal screening and how does it work?

Electro acupuncture According to Voll - EAV or Electro dermal Screening, is a type of electro-vibrational testing developed by Dr. Reinhold Voll in Germany in the 1940's and '50's to measure meridian energy flow in the human body. It is a type of testing that uses a small amount of voltage applied to the skin, which tests the body's skin resistance.

What is Bionetics?

Bionetics is a term which embraces all aspects of the body's energetic and informational dimensions, or life systems. It involves stress testing using a wide variety of modalities including Chinese medicine, homeopathy, nutrition and bioresonance therapy. For more information ,refer to the Article  The Evolving Science of Bionetics.

What is Bioenergetics?

Bioenergetics is a term used to refer to all aspects of the growing science that combines modern biofeedback technology with principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine and vibrational medicine.

What can I expect from my first session?

The goal of a Bioenergetic practitioner is to help you bring your body into balance. It is documented that stress can lead to blocked energy which can lead to all types of disease in the body. Although we don't treat symptoms or cure any disease, you will find that as your energy begins to flow more freely and your body systems become balanced, your symptoms will clear.

How does stress affect my health?

Finding ways to deal with stress is critical to wellness. Although stress affects individuals differently, one fact is beyond dispute; stress, especially unresolved, long-term stress, is a primary contributor to psychological and biological illness.  Refer to the article Stress Today.

What will my wellness protocol include?

Homeopathy, nutritional supplements, dietary changes and additions, flower essences, lifestyle and exercise may all help bring your body and meridians into balance. You and your practitioner will work together to determine the best course of action for you in your journey toward wellness.

What is homeopathy?

Homeopathy is the healing discipline established by Samuel Hahnemann in the late 18th and early 19th centuries. According to Hahnemann, the proper remedy for a symptom or illness is the substance that would, in a healthy person, produce the same set of symptoms exhibited in a sick person. It is widely used in Europe and is making a comeback in the United States.

When will I start feeling better?

Natural healing can take time. You may not experience wellness overnight, but you may notice slight changes in your health after just one visit. Some clients have been known to experience remarkable improvement in health status after just one visit, while other situations require more long-term care. Your healing depends on many factors: length of condition or symptoms, seriousness of condition, and most of all your willingness to follow the recommended protocol. Be assured that healing is occurring on a cellular level, even though you may not consciously feel it, or you may begin to notice subtle improvements in your energy as weeks go by.

How often should I be tested?

We recommend getting tested every 4 to 6 weeks for a minimum of three to six visits before expecting dramatic results. This is a process that will set you on a journey towards feeling better, having more energy and looking younger.

How come I've never heard of this before?

This type of testing is fairly new to the United States, although Meridian testing has been happening in Europe and Eastern countries for centuries. It is only in the last few years of the computer revolution that the testing has become fast and accurate enough to be utilized in most offices. Luckily there are many books about health and wellness.

How does the BodyScan 2010 compare to other EAV devices?

Western medical science, which is the youngest health science in the world, isolates every aspect of the body, and has followed specific research concepts similar to the principles of practicing Law. Everything must be based on a prior precedent and have repeatable results. On the other hand, the Eastern philosophies have always incorporated a holistic approach to health and have understood that man must also be observed in his entire world. This led to the concepts that the outside influences of nature can affect health. Easterners have also correlated forces of nature to the interior ecology of the body, recognizing that there are influences which aid or disrupt interior forces or "flow of energy" which is ubiquitous in providing life to the organism.

These observations created a fundamental approach to wellness and the development of many principles that have held true for centuries. The most basic of all these principles is that human beings are an ocean of motion. The statement that we never step into the same river twice helps us to understand this principle more fully.

The flow of energy is an amalgamated force traveling throughout our bodies. This flow must be adequate, equally distributed and abundant for true health. The flow of energy is not containable. It does not fit into a petri dish and it defies Western stoicism. Yet, the force is real, and though the vocabulary terms might be different, the force that creates life must remain in active in the body, or we die. This life force drives the meridian system and comprises part of the inner intelligence of the body.

In all actuality, Dr. Voll's serendipitous discoveries became a segue in understanding a vital aspect of the mind-body link. Experience has shown that he found an intelligent decentralized communication control system included within the flow of energy. This can be seen in practical experience when using the technology. But it also created an additional challenge: in many cases, once a meridian has become balanced, it seems to have taken the medicine as a type of information as well as an induction of uniquely added energy, and the flow of intelligence instantly moves on making it virtually impossible to go back and repeat the EAV test.

The issue is the same today. No EAV device on the market can perform the same test two times in a row on any patient. EAV defies double blind studies-two practitioners testing the same patient to determine effective protocols during separate sessions can arrive never at exactly the same answers. Even taking acupoint measurements is not repeatable. After obtaining base readings of the various points, successive measurements can vary by as much as 20% from earlier readings merely due to the fact that a low voltage has been applied to the skin and traveled through the meridian. The meridian "wakes up," so to speak, and it can't return to its previous state prior to the assessment.

However, the BodyScan 2010 is repeatable. Because the auto-scan mode exhausts the mesenchyme matrix by "discharging" the memory, if there is an issue that does not become resolved after therapy, according to Hans Selye's stress-recovery research, the body will recover as much as possible within in seven days. Any unresolved issues will reappear after the seven-day cycle. By re-testing at a later date, similar responses relating to old issues will become progressively stronger and more pronounced as time passes and can be observed in the results. It is the energetic principle of agglomeration. Under the overriding concept of flow, regardless of how often an eddy in a stream is cleaned out, it will continue to collect debris unless somehow there is less debris upstream, or changes are made to allow the stream to keep flowing. The return of energetic imbalances will be most pronounced after six weeks. In understanding this principle, the practitioner can verify whether there has been an adequate resolution to the focal disturbances that had been previously identified. The BodyScan 2010 makes patient follow-up the easiest of all bioenergetic equipment.
